Redemption

Christ redeems us from hell.

He doesn't just redeem us from the hell of our sins.

He also redeems us from hells of pain, bitterness and brokenness.

He redeems us from hellish things outside of our control.

I struggle with obsessive thoughts and sometimes I feel like my brain is broken. I wish I could cut it out.

Today I remembered that Christ has also felt my mental pain. He has been through so much more than me.
In that moment I felt the redemption of Christ. I remembered what it means to sing redeeming love and why we do it.
